Brazzen Warranty

Safety Information

To ensure safe and effective operation of Brazzen equipment, please read and understand all operating instructions thoroughly before use.

Brazzen Equipment Safety & Care Guidelines

                  •   Do not operate cattle chutes, head catcher, or other handling equipment while a person is inside or

within moving parts of the equipment.

                  •   Use all four designated lifting points simultaneously when transporting or relocating a cattle chute to

ensure proper balance and reduce the risk of tipping or damage.

                  •   Only trained and capable adults should operate Brazzen livestock handling equipment.

                  •   Livestock can be unpredictable. Always use caution and follow safe animal handling practices to

                       protect both animals and handlers.

                  •   Wear suitable protective gear—such as steel-toed boots, gloves, and eye protection—based on your

                       workplace or farm safety guidelines.

                  •   Inspect equipment for foreign objects, debris, or damage before each use. Ensure the area is clear and

                       all components are functioning properly.

                  •   Clean equipment regularly. A buildup of dirt, manure, or feed can cause mechanical issues and may

void your warranty. Routine maintenance promotes safety and extends the life of your investment.

                  •   Avoid loud or sudden noises around livestock to maintain a calm environment and reduce stress for

                       both animals and handlers.

Equipment Care & Maintenance Guidelines

Proper care and regular maintenance are essential to maximize the lifespan, safety, and performance of your Brazzen equipment.

General Maintenance

                  •   Clean equipment before and after each use. Built-up dirt, manure, or debris can cause corrosion,

                       component damage, and reduced performance.

                  •   Lubricate all hinges, latches, and moving parts with a high-quality lubricant. Frequency depends on

                       usage and environmental conditions.

                  •   Every six months, wipe down all surfaces with a lightly oiled cloth to help protect against rust and

                       preserve coatings.

                  •   If any coating is damaged, clean to bare metal and apply a zinc-rich galvanizing spray or paint to

                       prevent rust.

                  • Important: Failure to properly maintain your Brazzen equipment may void your warranty.

Weight Scale Maintenance (if applicable)

                  •   Ensure a stable power source and verify that the electrical voltage is within the specified range.

                  •   Check oil levels in the regulator reservoir during regular inspections.

                  •   Drain water from the air regulator before each use to prevent internal damage.

Exposure to Water and Livestock Treatments

To maintain the protective galvanized coating and ensure the longevity of Brazzen equipment: Do not operate or store equipment in areas where it may be exposed to farm sprinklers. Ongoing moisture exposure can damage the galvanized coating. If the equipment does come into contact with sprinkler water, it should be thoroughly wiped down and dried as soon as possible. Livestock that have recently been drenched, sprayed, or treated for parasites (such as during deworming) may rub against panels and other equipment surfaces. These treatments often contain chemicals that can harm the galvanized surface. Equipment that comes into contact with treated animals must be properly cleaned and dried to prevent premature wear or corrosion.

Safety Note

Brazzen equipment must not be operated by anyone under the age of 16. Only trained and capable individuals should use livestock handling equipment to ensure the safety of both people and animals.
