About Us

Our family’s roots in ranching run deep, dating back to the early 1890s when our family first settled in the area. In 1901, our family officially established the ranch that has remained in the family for generations.

In the early years, the ranch focused primarily on dairy cattle. Around the 1940s, the operation transitioned to beef cattle, beginning a new chapter in our family’s ranching tradition. Over the years, we have raised and worked with a variety of cattle breeds, including Hereford, Chianina, Charolais, and other crossbred cattle, before ultimately settling on primarily Black Angus cattle.

For generations, our family has built the ranch around hard work, good cattle, and practical ranching. Dean Look was the main operator of the ranch for many years and played a major role in carrying the family operation forward. In 2021, leadership of the ranch transitioned to Tara and Brett, who continue the family tradition today.

After more than a century of ranching, we understand firsthand what livestock producers need from their equipment. Equipment on a ranch has to work, hold up, and make the job easier—not just look good on paper.

That experience is what led us to begin offering livestock equipment to other ranchers and livestock producers. We’re proud to bring our family’s generations of hands-on ranching experience into the equipment business, with a focus on practical, dependable products built for the way livestock operations actually work.
